The Laurie Spina Shield is an annual two-day rugby league carnival open to players under 11 years of age, with a focus on participation, sportsmanship and enjoying the 'greatest game of all'.

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are committed to continuing the tradition of bringing communities in the North Queensland and Central Queensland regions together for this event.
